The Neighborhood, Under The Sun
the courtyard by Law
I myself, when I was set
under the sun, in the place of
refuge, justice and judgement did I
lack of.
Wherefore to what degree shall
my mine and body know of
the temperature hereon this earth.
Therefore here within the Old Line State
of Maryland, practice of slavery are impart of
the culture in my time and
in bibical times.
Yet the destitution of the abolition of
slavery remain: and for He
who is enslaved “pre se” among
governmental activity…
And Yet, thy path of justice
is therefore the hallowed place,
by Law.
